2017 Fall Choreographer’s Showcase

DECEMBER 3, 2017 at 3:00pm 

The Emelin Theatre, Mamaroneck, NY

Thank you for your interest in presenting your work in our 2017 Choreographer’s Showcase! The performance will be Sunday, December 3, 2017. The technical rehearsals will be held on the same day beginning at 10:00am. Please be sure you are available for the entire day. The performance will be followed by a Q & A. Please plan to stay until at least 5:00pm if you perform. The Emelin theatre is a renowned, Westchester-based theater, in the vibrant city of Mamaroneck, NY. The theater is within walking distance of the Metro North Mamaroneck train station. for more info visit 
*While we unfortunately cannot offer financial compensation for participation, artists are provided with professional, high-res photos and videos of their work.

Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Applications and all materials/fee are due by AUGUST 1, 2017.

Applications and work samples are reviewed by a selected panel of esteemed choreographers, dance educators, and presenters. Please contact us at with any questions. PLEASE NOTE: THE WORK SAMPLE YOU PROVIDE MUST BE THE ACTUAL WORK YOU INTEND TO PERFORM. SOLOS MAY NOT EXCEED 5 MINUTES AND GROUP WORKS MAY NOT EXCEED 7 MINUTES. TECHNICAL NEEDS MUST BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM. WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING DIGITAL WORK SAMPLES. PLEASE DO NOT SEND DVDS.

The Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation, formerly the Dance in Education Fund, is a not-for-profit dance advocacy and community outreach organization, which seeks to foster the arts in Westchester County.
