Marketing Intern for Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation

Marketing Internship

The Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation is seeking a part-time Marketing Intern for the Fall 2021, that can develop into a part-time paid position. Schedule can be flexible, and discussed upon interview. Remote and in-person opportunities.

General Responsibilities

Train with the staff of IDDF to understand company goals and values. Along with current IDDF Staff brainstorm, create and implement marketing plans/campaigns for the Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation and its resident dance company, Lori Belilove & Company, that promotes, refines and strengthens institutional identity, image and branding for IDDF, as well as increases overall visibility and attracts new audiences for Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company.

 

This is a unique opportunity that can develop into a paid part-time position.

 

Requirements/ Qualifications

Strong oral and written language skills as well as editing and proofreading skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills. Initiative to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to details.
Ability to communicate effectively with Artistic Director, Director of Education, and office assistants
Creative, Resourceful, and good communicator
Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of dance and New York arts market helpful.

Specific Duties:

Design all marketing, advertising and promotional material for Lori Belilove & Co.
Ensure an on-going presence for Lori Belilove & Company in the performing arts media.
Write press materials and coordinate press campaigns and events.
Ensure that funding partners are properly recognized in electronic and print material.
Manage overall website content.
Collaborate with Artistic Director, Educational Director, to develop and implement new earned income goals and develop new audiences & visibility.
Strive to integrate marketing and audience development best practices.
Represent IDDF at corporate and community events and outreach activities.
Create and manage a marketing budget within the scope of the IDDF general operations budget.
