2012 Evolve Dance Festival: Still Accepting Applications!

 
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 6TH ANNUAL EVOLVE DANCE FESTIVAL!!

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 9TH!!

WHAT IS THE EVOLVE DANCE FESTIVAL?

The Evolve Dance Festival is an evening of visionary professional dance, presented by the nonprofit organization, Evolve Dance Inc. The festival includes works by Evolve Dance as well as emerging and established dance companies, individual artists, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

WHO IS EVOLVE DANCE INC.?
Evolve Dance is a contemporary dance company with locations in New York City and Tarrytown, NY. Founded in 2006, our mission is to create and connect dancing communities through investigation, reflection, and action. For more information, please visitwww.evolvedance.org

WHEN & WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?
This season, the festival will be held on Friday, March 16th, 2012. It will be held at the Tarrytown Music Hall:

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Evolve Dance welcomes submissions from any emerging or established dance artist/company of any genre. Past Guest Artists include: Kyle Abraham, Camille A. Brown, Julian Barnett, Nicholas Leichter, Jonathan Riedel, Rebecca Kelly, Matthew Westerby, Erica Essner, and many more.

We enjoy offering our audiences a wide spectrum of artistic possibilities. Our previous festivals have included an array of genres including contemporary modern, jazz, and ballet; swing dance, hip hop, aerial silks; and mixed-media including video, live music, and more.
