A Dance Can presents
“A MODERN TRIBUTE”

A Modern Tribute is a celebration of dance and music – a chance to showcase choreography to iconic songs or songs by our music idols.The intention of the show is to encourage choreographers to use their own artistic voice in creating a modern tribute to a musical legend. Your work could be fun or sincere – it’s up to you! While showing respect to our musical influences, we want artists to expand their own movement skills. The emphasis of the festival is to promote the influence of musicians on modern/contemporary dancing (not to be mistaken as lyrical), but all styles of dance are welcome to apply.
