Present your work at the Baruch Performing Arts Center as part of ARD’s New York Performance Season, March 28th-30th, 2019. Ariel Rivka Dance is excited to provide opportunities for 3-6 engaging choreographers to show their work as part of a fully produced, high-level performance season with a limited financial commitment, as guests of ARD.  Choreographers of all backgrounds and female choreographers especially encouraged to apply.

 

Application Details:

-Application Deadline: January 15. Artists will be notified of decision by February 1.

-Proposed works should be no longer than 20 minutes. 10-20 minutes is ideal, but we will consider shorter works as well.  Choreographers must provide performers.

-Application Fee: $25 due upon application

-Video Sample: Please submit links to either a) full proposed work if completed OR b) any existing rehearsal footage of proposed work if still in process, plus 2 completed pieces as examples of your work.

-$500 participation fee* upon selection for BPAC performance

-Choreographers will be provided a tech rehearsal and professional photographs of their work.

-Each choreographer will present work at 1 of the performances.

*If the participation fee is prohibitive, partial financial aid may be possible.  Please specify your need as part of your application.

Present Dance @ Baruch Performing Arts Center

On Thursday March 28th-Saturday March 30th at 7:30pm, Ariel Rivka Dance will present 3-6 engaging guest artists alongside our company, at the Baruch Performing Arts Center for ARD’s annual New York Performance Season. Past seasons have included guests Sean Curran, Carolyn Dorfman, Rioult, Taylor II, Amy Marshall, Chanel DaSilva, Michael Spencer Phillips and others.  We are interested in choreographers at all career stages: emerging, mid-career and established. Each choreographer will present work at one of the performances. ARD will be presenting two world premieres, as well as Ariel Grossman’s critically acclaimed She. Apply to be part of this select group and perform at the beautiful and highly respected Baruch Performing Arts Center this Spring!
