MCGD Artists' Salon series

For six years now, Marie-Christine Giordano has opened her home loft space in Brooklyn to choreographers and artists from different media on Sundays at 3PM. Date to apply for is Sunday, May 19.

Salon events are free and allow artists to present short works or works-in-process and to get feedback and engage audience members in a dialogue in an intimate, casual setting. Wine and noshes will be served at the end of the event.

How to Participate

If you are a choreographer interested in presenting work at our Salon, please email us at salon@mcgdance.org and include the following:

—A sample and description of the work you would like to present at the Salon. Maximum time 10'.

—The number of performers (maximum 4)

—Any special set-up or equipment requirements (it is a low tech event with beautiful day light)

Upon confirmation, you will be asked to pay a rsvp fee of $30.

Requirements:

Artists must remain for the duration of the event (3 to 5PM) and it is expected that they will closely follow their colleagues' work and participate in discussions.

No one time use plastic cups or food containers are allowed on the premises.
