Complexions Contemporary Ballet will celebrate their 26th Anniversary with a Gala Performance at Joyce Theater on Thursday, January 23, 2020. Hosted by singer/songwriter, Rhonda Kendrick Ross, daughter of the legendary Diana Ross, and CCB Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director, Desmond Richardson, the Gala performance will feature the company in CCB Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director Dwight Rhoden's LOVE ROCKS - a world premiere set to the musical landscape of Lenny Kravitz, and other audience favorites. Proceeds from this gala benefit performance will continue to help build Complexions’ educational initiatives through scholarships, mentorship programs and the continued development of Rhoden’s and Richardson’s methodology of dance training. Complexion’s educational initiatives were offered in six cities this past year, allowing the company the ability to mentor and train hundreds of dancers. The gala will give audiences an opportunity to see the next generation of performers as they grace the Joyce stage. In addition to the company performing, there will be a new work performed by the students of Complexions’ pre-professional program.

The Gala Night performance will be followed by a VIP reception in the Joyce Theater's reception hall. Guests will have an opportunity to meet the Co-Artistic Directors, Ms. Kendrick Ross, Complexions Company members, and special guests while enjoying an array of exquisite desserts and champagne. Platinum Circle Guests will also be invited to attend a private and intimate brunch with Dwight Rhoden, Desmond Richardson, and other special guests on Saturday, January 25, 2020 in New York City.
