Arch Contemporary Ballet‘s Summer Intensive Program (#ACBi2018) offers an unparalleled experience in contemporary ballet rooted with the philosophy of Artistic Director, Sheena Annalise. 

Students are guided through a new way of thinking about ballet, music, body articulation, and personal artistry. The curriculum values artistic risk-taking by harvesting the solid technical underpinning of classical training to cultivate innovative movement. 

The program supports the growth of the contemporary ballet dancer ages 15-34 with contemporary ballet technique, contemporary pas de deux, Arch Ballet repertoire, and the opportunity to create a world premiere ballet for a culmination performance of the program.

Dancers will experience Annalise’s cross collaboration process with music, and selected students will also be invited to perform on the mainstage with Arch Ballet during their Summer Performance Season.

We aim for dancer’s to realize their full potential within movement at #ACBi.

#ACBi2018 Performance

All dancers will perform Sat, Aug 18 in a #ACBi2018 showing and additional selected dancers will be asked to stay for company rehearsals after 5pm if chosen to perform with Arch Ballet
main stage performances.

Privates – For additional private lessons, choreography for BFA senior solos or college auditions, please inquire in advance at admin@archballet.com to schedule. Limited availability. 

CLASS ATTIRE & DRESS CODE

Tight fitting dance attire is required. Any color or style. Nude flat ballet shoes are required for men and women. Optional: Nude pointe shoes for women.

ATTENDANCE

All students are required to attend the full session to be able to perform during the showing. Under no circumstances are students permitted to arrive late or leave early.

REGISTRATION

Our program has limited spots to ensure hands on training with our students. Registration is on a rolling basis.
