Artist in Residence Laura K. Nicoll Presents Private Dancer

We are proud to present a special works-in-progress performance of Private Dancer by Laura K. Nicoll. Nicoll is Union Street Dance's 2019 Artist in Residence and has been developing this new work in the studio through support from the Mertz Gilmore Foundation Late Stage Creative Stipend. Seating is limited so guarantee your attendance by purchasing through Brown Paper Tickets today!

Private Dancer is a kind of solo. The movement was born from one body, has been absorbed and translated onto other bodies, and can never be done the same twice. This performance invites audiences to witness the live remixing of movement, sound, and video.
