Ailey Extension will host actor, choreographer, dancer, and teacher Lane Napper for an exciting and dynamic Commercial Dance Workshop on Saturday, June 8 from 1:30-3:30pm. As one of the most sought-after teachers on the scene today, Lane Napper will bring his extensive experience in television and film to students of all dance levels and backgrounds in an inclusive, energetic, and welcoming environment. After working through an energizing warm-up, students will learn how to perform and execute different styles of commercial dance with intention, purpose and confidence. With a strong emphasis on technique, the workshop will finish with a Broadway, Television, or Movie style routine to help students feel confident about performing on stage or screen.
