The Art of Fugue

5 dancers inside church kicking in unison, smiling Whitney Browne
"The most sensuous Bach experience ever!" -Nancy Wozny, ARTS AND CULTURE TX In a world filled with detachment and immediacy, this dance is an exploration and a search for beauty in the present moment. Bach's "The Art of Fugue" is the centerpiece, played by renowned organist Rick Erickson. The space of St. Luke in the Fields itself will inspire imagery and movement from every crevice, step, and pillar. This production first premiered as part of Bach Vespers NYC at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and has since been presented at Bach Society Houston (TX), Sacred Music at the Red Door (CT), as well as at Providence United Methodist Church (NC)
