Traumnovelle

Adam Barruch + Chelsea Bonosky Alice Chacon

Traumnovelle is a new site-specific collaboration created by Anatomiae Occultii founders Adam Barruch + Chelsea Bonosky.

The work will be presented at Arts on Site's 5th Floor apartment space on St. Marks, 5F.

Premiering June 13th and running through June 23rd the performances will be held for only 10 people per night.

This new work explores the dangers in lifting the veil on our innermost desires, while following a couple in their apartment in what is perceived to be a quiet evening at home.

Taking from a variety of influences: the work of writer Arthur Schnitzler, director Stanley Kubrick and composers such as Morton Feldman and Ingenting Kollektiva, Traumnovelle utilizes Anatomiae Occultii's signature kinetic gestural language to weave an abstract narrative with a complex and emotionally charged vocabulary.

Adam Barruch and Chelsea Bonosky met in Montreal, and began what is now a 10 year collaborative partnership. Their work together has led them around the world creating and performing under the epithet Anatomiae Occultii (Hidden Anatomy).

NOTE: This show contains partial nudity and is not intended for children. Although some seating is available, audience members are encouraged to stand and move with the action of the performers.
