Registration is open for our upcoming contemporary workshops with the incredibly talented Hailey Cindric and Amelia Sherman! 

Each workshop is $15 and pre-registration is required.  

Saturday, June 21
New York Live Arts

4:15 - 5:45pm Hailey Cindric
Hailey's class is rooted in contemporary with a touch of jazz. She focuses her movement on musicality and isolations, as she aims to blend the music and movement together as one. Expect some improvisation from her class to open up your ears!

6 - 7:30pm Amelia Sherman
I strive to create a space where everyone feels welcomed, capable and appreciated! This class will be about exploring dynamics and expression through contemporary fusion movement. We’ll start with a warm up, followed by a few improvisational prompts, and end with a combo! Class with me is all about maintaining a low-stakes environment, allowing for and appreciating authentic connections with others, and sharing a laugh (or four)!

7 - 8:30pm Katie Gorsky
Katie's style is derived from contemporary and classical modern dance, and her class will focus on body awareness, expansiveness, and playing with texture. She strives to create an upbeat and positive environment where dancers should feel welcome to make modifications, try new things, and remember why they love to dance!
 

UDC workshops are always open to all, but please note that choreography will be geared toward intermediate level contemporary dancers.
