Valentina Kozlova announces the 9th annual Kozlova International Ballet Competition - "Preserving the Past, Discovering the Future" - March 19-23, presenting both classical dancers and contemporary dancers and choreographers.   250 exceptional dancers from 20 countries around the world will gather in NY to dance before a panel of celebrated dance figures led by Andris Liepa, and including Charles Jude, Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Paul McRae and more.  Awards include medals, company contracts, and scholarships to leading dance academies around the world.  Classical Rounds Monday & Tuesday; Contemporary on Thursday; Finals on Friday; Announcement of winners on Sat. at 5 PM followed by Gala Performance at 6 PM.   Times and ticket prices vary from day to day, so please call the Symphony Space box office, 212.864.5400 with any questions.
