Virtual 2020 Vision Gala

Dance Theatre of Harlem Virtual 2020 Vision Gala October 19th

On Monday, October 19 at 7:00 PM EDT, please join us on Dance Theatre of Harlem’s YouTube channel and Facebook Live for the Virtual 2020 Vision Gala. Hosted by Emmy Award-Winning ABC News Correspondent Deborah Roberts, the virtual gala program will recognize the legacy of Dance Theatre of Harlem and its founders, while celebrating the company of today. As an organization that was borne in response to social unrest in the 1960s, the virtual gala will amplify the importance of ballet and social justice during a time when the lives of black and brown people in America continue to be threatened by racism and systemic inequities.

During this exciting event, Dance Theatre of Harlem will honor Jeanine Liburd, BET Network’s Chief Social Impact and Communications Officer, and Verdun S. Perry, Blackstone’s Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Strategic Partners. The virtual gala will feature new works danced by DTH’s company artists, including a special video featuring DTH dancers created in collaboration with a surprise Grammy Award-Winning recording artist, and much more! Please join us for a virtual dance party with a special guest DJ immediately following the event. While the event is open to the public, to receive exclusive donor benefits, such as gift boxes, a virtual pre-gala cocktail hour, and T-shirts, please purchase virtual gala tables and tickets by clicking here. Also, check out our online auction on Charitybuzz, October 12-21.
