We are so thrilled to host our first virtual summer dance intensive for movement enthusiasts interested in diving deeper into the creative and choreographic process with a focus on storytelling and movement for camera in today’s digital age. 

This 1 week program is designed for open minded dancers of all levels that have been introduced to contemporary dance and would like to hone in on their individuality and craft. We aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment to encourage artists to discover their own uniqueness while placing emphasis on using their voices and telling their own stories through movement. 

Program Instructors: Join MPA founder Anjanette Maraya-Ramey (choreography and composition) and guest masterclass  instructors Francesca Penzani (dance for film) and Jonathan Fredrickson (contemporary technique and rep, former Limon and Hubbard Street and current Pina Bausch) in celebrating personal growth while coming together as a community to celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion through our love of movement.
