Registration for the entire series of The Sounding Body, with Pyeng Threadgill (February 28 – March 14), Tatyana Tenenbaum (March 21 - April 4), and Peter Sciscioli (April 11-25), is available for $180! See Register button at top right.

Pyeng Threadgill is currently completing her fourth album Head Full of Hair, Heart Full of Song a collection of songs, stories and videos exploring the notion of natural hair, ancestry and adornment for women of African descent of all ages. This project aims to serve as a modern day medicine pouch/digital talisman for young women to uphold their unique and individual beauty. As a performer of New Porch Music/The Porch Sessions Pyeng seeks to transform ordinary spaces, situations, places and people into extraordinary experiences. “I hope to remind listeners (audience and band alike) that we are always minutes away from a potentially huge shift which art has the power to ignite.”
