WHITE WAVE is looking for people who, first and foremost, are interested in the dance community of New York City. Must have a courteous demeanor, as they will need to work well with staff, artists, and the general public. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-savvy are a plus. Activities Assist WHITE WAVE staff in the production of the 2010 DUMBO DANCE FESTIVAL + WAVE RISING SERIES and general WHITE WAVE operations, including: Ø Aid in the mailing of press releases. Ø Aid in the development and distribution of supplementary marketing materials (posters, programs, postcards) Ø Contact follow ups with program participants Ø Assist the technical staff during the tech rehearsal and the production staff during the festival Ø Intern and Volunteer activities also include data entry, web-based research, and other general office activities.
