i KADA Contemporary Dance company presents the annual international dance festival, “KoDaFe in NYC". Our festival unites artists, choreographers, and dancers from all around the world and offers a special cultural exchange.

Theme of this year:

Happiness/pleasure, anger, sorrow, joy, love, hatred/envy, or greed/desire/jealous 

These are fundamental Human Emotions. There will be 7 pieces and each piece will be a representation of different emotions. 

There are no negative or positive meanings from either of these emotions. Anger, hate, greed, and sorrow may be seen as negative emotions. However, they can also mean something entirely different. Same goes for all other emotions. All of us have different emotions but each of us experience them differently.

Festival Performance on June 30th, 2024 at 7:30pm at Ailey Citigroup Theater.
