Dancing during COVID-19

Looking for dancers willing to discuss their experiences of dancing during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic for an academic paper. The focus of the paper is how some constructors of zoom classes were able to foster virtual communities. Also interested in other experiences, particularly of those who danced in their homes. All stories valued. Identification of participants can be anonymous or credited—your choice.

Meetings can be on zoom, through emailed questions, or I am happy to take you out for coffee and meet in person! There is no fee.

Earlier versions of this paper were presented in 2022 at the PopMoves International Conference and in 2024 during the Popular Culture Association annual conference. For more about me see https://www.qcc.cuny.edu/dance/faculty-bio/CStern.html
