If you plan to request Capital Funding from the Department of Cultural Affairs or elected officials, the Fiscal Year 2013 capital request form will be available on DCLA’s webpage, http://www.nyc.gov/html/dcla/html/funding/capital_funding_request.shtmlon January 5, 2012. Deadlines for the Fiscal Year 2013 request process have been posted on DCLA’s website as well.

A Capital Funding Seminar will be held at DCLA on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 10am to 12pm to review capital eligibility requirements, guidelines and completion of request forms. The seminar is not mandatory; however, we strongly encourage you to attend if you are unfamiliar with the City capital funding process and requirements. Please RSVP to capitalrequest@culture.nyc.gov or call Lettie Hoggard at 212-513-9316 by Friday, January 20, 2012. Space will be tight, so please limit attendance to one representative.

Please remember that given the City's budget constraints, we expect that new capital funding will be extremely limited this year. An accurate and comprehensive request is essential for our assessment of new needs and allocation of funds.
