Open Dance Ensemble is delighted to present our new piece, Appalachian Summer, a recast of Martha Graham’s 1956 revision of her 1944 classic Appalachian Spring, with live music based on the 1848 hymn used by Copland in the original performance, on April 20th, at 7 pm at Balance Arts in Manhattan.
