Intensive Summer School is a 9 days of full-immersion in dance and fun. From July 4th to 12th, all the students, guests of the beautiful studios of Ateneo della Danza, will be able to study with the biggest names of Italian and international dance world. During the stage, students will attend classes of ballet, pointe technique, male technique, pas de deux, repertory, character, contemporary, contact improvisation, floorbarre, physiotechnique and, in addition, workshop and classes of contemporary repertory. Sunday, July 12th, at the end of the stage, all students will perform at the Gran Galà set in Teatro dei Rinnovati, alongside international dancers and artists. At the end of the performance, students, parents and guests will attend the Gran Galà dinner, that will close the event.

Professional Training Course proposes to form classical and contemporary dancers from 10 to 20 years, offering to students all the correct means in order to access to the world of job. Insertion in the course takes place only through an audition, a selection and a motivational talking. Didactic program provides eight academic levels, divided between male and female classes. Besides studying practical subjects students follow theoretical lessons too; these lessons help dancers for their own cultural growth. During course students will be supported in the gradual insertion into the world of job, trough preparation for auditions, competitions in Italy and abroad, training stages with known companies. Final year students can also access, after passing an audition, for a period of training to the company Balletto di Siena and to an audition in order to access to Recognized Courses promoted by Tuscany Region. Course ends with a final exam American Ballet Theatre ® National Training Curriculum ®.
