Here is the schedule for August 25 and August 27, 2020:

NDI Jams! with Leonardo Sandoval (All ages)

2 pm EDT • Tuesday, August 25 on FacebookInstagram, and YouTube
NDI’s Artist-in-Residence Leonardo Sandoval introduces you to basic steps in this open-level tap class, putting them together into a short combination. This combination was taught to him in Brazil by his mentor and is inspired by the legendary Bill “Bojangles” Robinson. Leonardo is NDI’s first Artist-in-Residence and has been working with NDI for 2019-2020. No tap shoes are necessary to participate in the class!

This class ends with a performance of the NDI Celebration Team dancers from Summer Institute 2019, dancing a tap piece choreographed by Leonardo Sandoval and composed by Gregory Richardson.

NDI Jams! with Greg Stamper and Priscilla Owens (All ages)

2 pm EDT • Thursday, August 27 on FacebookInstagram, and YouTube
NDI Jams will feature performances by Greg Stamper and Priscilla Owens, two amazing vocal artists who have sung in many NDI Event of the Year performances. They are an integral part of the NDI vocal sound. NDI Music Director Jerry Korman hosts with Ly Bedaña and Jerry Korman on piano. Stay tuned until the end to see the NDI Celebration Team in 2015 perform “Saturday Night Fish Fry” choreographed by NDI Teaching Artist Dr. Jenny Seham.

Closed captioning for ndiLIVE! is available on Facebook and YouTube.
