Dance/NYC is pleased to announce the launch of the Dance. Workforce. Resilience. (DWR) Initiative, which aims to address economic inequity in the metropolitan New York City dance industry and, in turn, act on its commitment to foster a just, equitable, and inclusive dance ecology.

To celebrate the launch of the Initiative, join Dance/NYC at the Mark Morris Dance Center for a party with community members, industry leaders, politicians, funders, and advocates in the field. The gathering commemorates ten years of Dance/NYC’s service as an independent nonprofit in the City and marks its first in-person gathering since 2020. The evening includes interviews with dance workers, performances by Dance/NYC grantees, food, drink, and a dance party.
