The 1st annual Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival is looking for voluteer stagehands including:

- Stage Manager
- Backstage Hands
- Sound Operator

The show is Saturday September 18, 2010, 8:00PM.
Volunteers will be needed from 10:00am until approximately 11:00pm with breaks throughout the day.

The Perceptions Contemporary Dance Festival provides artists (emerging and established) with the opportunity to present dance in New York City. The festival is designed to support choreographers and companies around the country and internationally, providing the necessary technical aspects of staging professional work with minimal costs incurred. This festival provides artists with a state-of-the-art theater, expert technical cr...ew, ticket sales, promotion and exposure in the New York City area, while creating the opportunity for growth and development by allowing each artist to focus solely on their art.

The 2010 Festival will be held at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center on Saturday September 18th.

Hosted by Perceptions Contemporary Dance Company, who will also present a repertoire piece.

There will be a casual open-networking wine and cheese that volunteers may be asked to assist with, but are encouraged to attend as well.  There is great opportunity to meet new companies and presenters and expand your own contacts and horizons.
