Design intern
Email cover letter and resume to Lily Cohen, Communications Associate: lily@danspaceproject.org with "Design intern" in the subject of the message.
Design intern needed to assist with creation of post cards, posters, programs, brochures, and web design.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver a plus.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a great staff and be involved in the fun and creative aspects of Dance Marketing.
8+ hours/ week
ABOUT DANSPACE PROJECT
For over 35 years, Danspace Project has supported a vital community of contemporary dance artists in an environment unlike any other in the United States. Located in the historic St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery, Danspace shares its facility with the Church, The Poetry Project, and The Incubator Arts Project. Danspace Project's Commissioning Initiative has commissioned over 380 new works since its inception in 1994.
Danspace Project presents new work in dance, supports a diverse range of choreographers in developing their work, encourages experimentation, and connects artists to audiences.
