Call for Choreographers for the ChEck Us OuT Dance Festival

 
 Come join us and present your choreography at the ChEck Us OuT Dance Festival in Central Park!

 

ChEckiT!Dance will be producing an outdoor dance festival celebrating emerging female choreographers on July 23, 2011. The application deadline is Friday, May 13, 2011 to be considered for participation in the festival. 

 

We are looking for emerging female choreographers who would like to present their work in an outdoor setting! We welcome choreographers to submit pieces from any genre of dance that can be adapted to an outdoor setting. Please join us for this great opportunity to be able to have your work showcased in one of the most beautiful venues in New York City- Central Park! 

 

Festival Application Guidelines

 

1. Submit all materials listed on the application via email to checkitdance@gmail.com by Friday, May 13, 2011 (press kit, application form, link to performance/rehearsal footage), unless requested and approved by ChEckiT!Dance.

2. Submit $20.00 application fee via PayPal by Friday, May 13, 2011. We will also accept checks payable to Checkitdance LLC postmarked by May 13, 2011 and mailed to 45-18 30th Avenue Apt. 2R Astoria, NY 11103

3. Choreographers must submit pieces no longer than 10 minutes in length
