Theater director Jesca Prudencio, in collaboration choreographer Ben Hobbs and an ensemble of 16 dancers, and live drummers, will create a series of twenty lively 49-second movement theater vignettes to be performed during the 49-second duration of the walk signal in Astor Place. The actual performance will be done in a "flash-mob" style, taking East Villagers and Times Square tourists by a beautiful surprise.
