5 Male & Female Dancers Needed for Workshop Performance

Looking for 5 dancers for a workshop performance on Feb 2nd at University Settlement.  We will workshop a new work only in January, rehearsing 1-2 times a week.  Very small but grateful stipend offered.  Opportunity to move forward with the work during the year as well.

This piece will be very particular in style-- looking for dancers with experience in Aikido preferred, although Tai-Chi, Butoh, and serious yoga practitioners are also welcome.  A grounded mind-body connection with one's breathing is necessary, as well as the natural ability to move fluidly, blend with one another, and strength in dance training.  Minimum 2 years' professional performance experience also preferred, in modern or post-modern dance. 

We will have a short, workshop-style "audition"/info meeting on Saturday, Jan 7th 11am-12:30pm in Manhattan.  More info upon e-mailing.
