Susan Marshall & Company seeks an intern for spring semester 2012. This position will be involved in all aspects of company management, including: preparations for the company’s upcoming season as part of the 92Y Harkness Dance Festival; the early stages development for a major work, premiering in 2013; plans and correspondence regarding the company’s summer workshop; and all day-to-day operations of a mid-sized dance company. Applicants must be highly motivated, organized, and comfortable meeting on the phone and in person with a wide range of stakeholders. 2-5 days per week, hours are flexible. The intern will work closely with the managing director and the artistic director. This is an unpaid position.
