Diane McCarthy is seeking dancers for an evening of work in collaboration with composer Richard Einhorn.
McCarthy and Einhorn are Artists in Residence at Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) and will be collaborating over the course of a year and a half with performances taking place in the fall of 2013. Performances will involve live music.
Looking for modern dancers with strong classical training and sense of line. Seasoned artists with strong presence, performance ability and excellent musicality.
Must be available to rehearse weekends and Monday nights. Rehearsal periods will occur in the spring, summer and fall with breaks in-between.
There will be performance fees.
Interested dancers are encouraged to attend Diane McCarthy’s classes at Dance New Amsterdam to become familiar with her movement.
