NORTHWEST DANCE PROJECT AUDITION

 

 

NORTHWEST DANCE PROJECT HAS OPEN COMPANY POSITIONS FOR OUR 2012-13 SEASON. Competitive Contract | Employee Positions | 30+ weeks

LAUNCH: 7 project will serve as an audition process for the company. All interested dancers should audition for LAUNCH: 7 as participation in this project is limited and selective.

LAUNCH:7 July 10 to 21 / 2012
LAUNCH: 7 is designed for the professional dancer seeking opportunities to see and be seen. Be twisted, turned, torqued, motivated, developed, inspired and pushed beyond your current boundaries. Dancers must demonstrate advanced ballet technique, be versatile and movement oriented, be open to artistic direction and suggestion, and be explorative and highly professional.

Selected dancers will work for two intensive weeks. The first week will focus on mastering the repertoire of Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon, Crystal Pite, Medhi Walerski, Didy Veldman, Sarah Slipper, Patrick Delcroix, Edgar Zendejas and others. During the second week dancers will work with our two winning Pretty Creatives choreographers on choreography.

 

Participation in LAUNCH is selective and limited.

All interested dancers must apply and audition in-person for LAUNCH unless they have participated in a previous LAUNCH Project within the last two years.
