Costume Designer/Fashion/Wardrobe Assistants for Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet

 

Costume Designer/Fashion/Wardrobe Assistants

Interns will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with some of New York's finest dance-educators and Wardrobe Mistresses from the world of Ballet while gaining an intimate, firsthand experience of working towards a show and deadline. Duties include sewing, creative problem solving, measuring and costume alteration. When applying, please indicate availability.

Applicants to either position(s) must:

Be resourceful, creative, open-minded and able to work in an unpredictable fast-paced environment

Must be efficient and good at time management

Have a passion for the performing arts, costume or fashion design.
