Internship in Exchange for Free Dance Classes!
Movement Workshop Group, a multi-disciplinary dance theatre company based out of Brooklyn, is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate intern to join us for our fall semester. Intern will receive15 hours of classes/week in exchange for 15 hours/ week of work.
Intern duties will include:
Working alongside Artistic Director Leslie Guyton, as well as Movement Workshop Group company members. Our intern will be exposed to a broad range of company-related tasks such as touring, grants, residencies, finances, marketing and press, and education.Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, good with time management, and flexible. Having a laptop of your own is required.No stipend, but our intern has access to our fall collective classes offered Monday-Friday 9am-12pm.
These classes include daily Graham technique as well as ballet, hip hop, salsa, contemporary, and music video, each offered once a week.
Work hours 1pm-6pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
