Workshop Dates: November 5 - 23
The Merce Cunningham Trust is seeking intermediate/advanced dancers to participate in its Fellowship Program - designed to support the teaching, revival, and performance of Cunningham's work. Supervised by Director of Choreography Robert Swinston, former Cunningham dancer Andrea Weber will conduct a 3-week workshop, restaging Pond Way (1998) on pre-professional students at New York City Center.
Workshop Daily Schedule
12:15pm - 1:45pm Cunningham Technique
2:00pm - 6:00pm Repertory Rehearsal
Selected dancers will participate in the workshop free of charge.Some familiarity with Cunningham Technique is preferred, but not required. To register for the audition, contact info@mercecunningham.org.
