Hi,

I'm, Jonathan, an aspiring choreographer who is looking to begin developing my own body of work. I have solid training in modern, ballet, African dance, hip-hop, and jazz. I have a background as a dancer and choreographer. In fact, I graduated from a fine arts high school and minored in dance in college. I choreographed all throughout that time and have had several works produced. I took a hiatus from dance after college to work on my doctorate but have been getting back in the studio lately and am looking to start creating new works on groups.

I am looking for dancers who are well trained in ballet, contemporary, and/or jazz that are interested in working with an up and coming choreographer on a semi-regular basis. I do not currently have funding, so this is NOT a paid position. I will, however, pay for all studio time. I am hoping to develop work for an upcoming showcase here in the city.

Dancers that apply to this ad should be comfortable dancing someone else’s work and

1) Be well-trained in ballet, contemporary, and/or jazz (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!)

2) Be between 18 and 33

3) Be punctual

4) Be professional and a team player
