xyz nyc is seeking interested dancers for our Championship Round. A new approach to dance-making in New York City, modern dance-makers from across the city are invited to come together, meet for possibly the first time, and take on the difficult task of creating a new piece and showing it for an audience in a single week.

The Championship round is the culmination of the xyz nyc inaugural series. We invite interested dancers of all backgrounds to sign-up to participate with one of our three competing choreographers. The winner of the Championship round will receive an evening-length show at the Tank.

The commitment for dancers will be one weeks time: Thursday, February 14 - Thursday, February 21 (the performance date). Rehearsal schedules will be determined based on availability with the choreographer closer to the performance date.

Sign-Up deadline is WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6.
