Seeking 3 Female, 1 Male Afro-Caribbean Dancers

Looking for true storytellers. Dancers able to communicate with movement, eyes; intelligent dancers with excellent musicality and rhythm. True lovers of dance who are unabashedly sexy, who dance with pride and confidence.

Experienced in West-African, Orisha, Dancehall, Rumba. Contemporary or Modern as information for movement is of interest, but dance is rooted in Afro-Caribbean movement.

Especially interested in Caribbean men and women, Jamaican or Cuban.

Modest travel stipend for rehearsals, paid performances.

Rehearsals are evenings and weekends.

Performance dates: April 26th and 27th, 2013 at the Actors Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn.

Send Picture and Resume and a few words about yourself and experience/interest in Afro-Caribbean dance to: info@onibrown.net
