Free Dance Class in Harlem!

 

Riverbank Dance Collective is kicking off its Spring Season by offering a free dance class to the public!

This workshop blends modern dance and jazz techniques with urban stylings. No prior dance experience required, just a desire to get down andmove! All students are encouraged to participate in the Student Showcase Performance at the end of the Series (must attend min. 5 classes to perform). Taught by RDC Artists Stephen Christopher Contreras, Julie Petrusak, and Kelly Hamlin.

 Take the 1 train to 145th street and walk west to the river. BX19 bus to Riverbank Park.

Registration Opens March 19th! All Students must register through Riverbank State Park. There is a onetime registration fee for new members of the park ($14 adults/teen, $11 senior citizens/physically challenged)

Riverbank Dance Collective (RDC) is a dance organization that aims to strengthen the community at large by making the performing arts immediately accessible to all. Through a partnership with Riverbank State Park, RDC offers free classes and affordable performances to NYC school groups, senior citizens, and the general public. RDC believes that dance, and all performing arts have the power to educate, inspire, and empower people of all ages, and over all strengthen the community.
