Seeking Male & Female Contemporary Dancers

 
Seeking Male & Female contemporary dancers for possible roles in upcoming performances for the Contemporary Ensemble. All dancers must have solid technique (ballet and modern-African/diasporic is helpful, but not required) and must be open to exploring new forms of dance language within the learning process. Competitiverates of compensation for performances are offered if selected to perform with the company. Individual contracts with per diem, lodging , salaries and travel are offered for individual dates when touring. Audition will consist of a ballet class and company repertoire to follow. Please bring headshot & resume.

Forces of Nature has produced professional ballets, conducted dance classes and presented concerts and educational programs in New York City, the United States, and throughout the world for over 32 years. Annual Seasons/ Concerts dates : The Apollo Theater< Cathedral of St. John> Aaron Davis Hall/ Harlem Stage, National and International touring. Selected arts / education teaching positions. Confirmed opportunities to dates: Edison Theater, ST. Louis Mo; Summer Stage,Richard Rodgers Theatre, NY; Fayetteville,UNIversity, NC; NJPAC, Newark, NJ; Paul Winter Solstice, NY; Apollo Theater, Harlem NY; IABD, Los Vegas, Nevada. Sierra Leone , West Africa ( specific to the African Ensemble of Forces of Nature).
