< WORKSHOP CONTENT >
-Studio work: A full bodied warm-up focusing on grounding, spatial awareness, physical listening followed by movement explorations and choreographic scores that focus on kinetic dialogue and decision-making

-Horse Work: Hands on work with horses that focuses on the basics of communication with an equine partner from the ground, establishing and maintaining join-up, creating a choreographic score with an equine partner PLUS the opportunity to dance in tandem with horses ridden by an accomplished equestrian.

< What is The Equus Projects? >
The Equus Projects is a company of dancers who create performance work with horses. The company dancers apply their knowledge of equine behavior and horsemanship to a practice of physical training and on-going exploration of inventive and agile improvisational skill sets. In their studio practice they translate the creation process they use with horses into vivid and dynamic movement dialogues for humans.
