Call for Artists: 4th Annual Suite Summer Festival
In-Sight Dance Company's Suite Summer Festival gives dance artists and companies a free opportunity to present their work as a part of a fully produced dance festival. Our goal is to connect artists with the Queens Community. We are looking for submissions from dancer artists who work in any form or genre of dance.

Over the past three years In-Sight Dance Company has presented work from over 30 dance companies and artists including Joe Celej, Sarah Council Dance Project, DeMa Dance Company, Nikki Hefko, SUNPROJECT/Sun-ae Hwan, and Untitled l Collective.
This year we have an ambitious goal of presenting over 30 dance companies over the course of LABOR DAY weekend.
Performance will take place between August 29th and September 1st at the Secret Theatre in Long Island City, Queens.

Submission Requirements:
- A work sample must be submitted to be considered.
- You can submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Please submit a separate form for each submission.
- All pieces must be no more than 7 minutes in length.
- All solos must be no more than 3 minutes in length.
- As this is a festival we are excited to accommodate many unique dance artists. However, this means that we do not have extreme technical or lighting capabilities nor storage for major props

- Performance area: 15' deep and 35' wide, Sprung floor, Marley laid.
- Thrust Stage--however the upstage wings are only accessible during a blackout. Entrances are available from the four corners of the stage. Note: the green room is behind the center audience.
- The theater seats 70 people. It is an intimate space where the audience sits on three sides of the performance area.

- This is a FREE opportunity: there is no submission fee for this application and no performance fee required for participation in this festival.
- There is no compensation for dance companies or artists to perform as a part of the 2013 Suite Summer Festival.
- Applicants and their performers are expected to be available for a performance on any of the following dates: August 29, August 30, August 31, September 1.
- Applicants and their performers are expected to be available for up to 2 hours of tech rehearsal between the hours of 12pm and 11pm on August 26th, 27th, or 28th.
