ChEckiT!Dance is now accepting applications from female choreographers who would like to present their work at Summit Rock in Central Park. We welcome choreographers to submit pieces from any genre of dance that can be adapted to an outdoor space. The 2012 ChEck Us OuT Dance Festival was a carefully curated event that featured the innovative works of ten female choreographers from all across the country. The festival seeks to showcase the talents of strong, female choreographers in a welcoming and fun environment.

The application deadline is Friday, May 10, 2013 to be considered for participation in the festival.

Festival Application Guidelines

1. Submit all materials listed on the application via email to checkitdance@gmail.com by Friday, May 10, 2013 (press kit, application form, link to performance/rehearsal footage), unless requested and approved by ChEckiT!Dance.

2. Submit a non-refundable $35.00 application fee via PayPal by Friday, May 10, 2013. We will also accept checks payable to Checkitdance LLC postmarked by May 10, 2013 and mailed to 32-77 34th Street, Apt. 4, Astoria, NY 11106.

Choreographers must submit pieces no longer than 10 minutes in length.
