Workshop Dates: May 14 - 24, 2013
Former company member Daniel Squire (1998-2009) will restage Story (1963) in a two-week long workshop. Daniel Squire began looking at Story when curating the dance portion of Dancing Around the Bride at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This sparked his interest in reviving the entire piece. Daniel intends to work with 12 - 15 dancers, having two casts, as a means to explore the variability of Story thoroughly.
Schedule
Selected dancers will participate in the workshop free of charge. Some familiarity with Cunningham Technique is preferred, but not required.
