3 days International dance festival in Detroit! August 25 - August 27, 2016 

DDCF Choreographers Showcase  (YMCA Boll Theater)

7:00 pm - THURSDAY & FRIDAY and 4:30 Saturday
The DDCF Choreographers Showcase features the work of regional and national choreographers from across the country.  The 2015 Festival will host three showcases on August 25th and 26th at 7:00 pm and August 27th at 4:30 pm at the Boll Theatre in the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit in Downtown Detroit.

INTERNATIONAL ARTIST EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITIES

The Detroit Dance City Festival(DDCF) and South Korean based New Dance for  Asia - N.D.A International Festival has created a new international exchange initiative in order to cultivate cross-cultural artistic experiences and continue developing Detroit as a global epicenter for dance. One choreographer who has presented their work at this year’s Detroit Dance City Festival will be selected to present their work as a part of the New Dance for Asia - N.D.A International Festival in South Korea next year. This is an exciting opportunity for artists to connect and work with artists from around the world.

NATIONAL ARTIST EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITIES

DDCF will be participating in an exciting new exchange program with the Dumbo Dance Festival(NYC): one Choreographer will be selected to participate at the Dumbo Dance Festival 2018.
One Choreographer will be selected to perform at DDCF Gala 2016
2 choreographers will be selected to perform at the Detroit Dance Race Best of 2016-2017 Showcase.
