MALE DANCER for Arabian Nights' Tale
CAST REPLACEMENT NEEDED IMMEDIATELY -- Mosaic Dance Theater Company seeks MALE DANCER for lead role of “The Prince” in The Ebony Horse an Arabian Nights’ dance/story theater piece (approx. 25-minutes in length). Morgiana Celeste Varricchio, Director; Samara, Choreographer. Traditional/modern training, with strong line and focus. Must have excellent non-verbal acting skills. Ethnic/folk styles (particularly Middle Eastern) a plus. 5’9” -6’; 20s-40s. Experienced dancer, able to learn choreography quickly.
Performances: October 20, 2013, West Orange, NJ (transportation provided to & from NYC);
November 22, 23, 24, 2013, Martha Graham Studios, NYC.
Rehearsals: Begin immediately. Monday nights, 5-10; some Wednesday nights 8-10, TBA as needed. DANY Studios, NYC.
Unpaid rehearsals; some pay for performance. Non-union.
