Contemporary Workshop/Audition with
Korhan Basaran

Choreographer Korhan Basaran, who has been based in NY for the last 5 years, will be holding a week long workshop/audition at Peridance, NY for an international (multinational) project that he will be setting in Istanbul. This new work will premiere in Istanbul by late Spring 2014 and is planned to tour nationally and internationally.

Fearless performers with a sense of self and surroundings shall apply. While seeking what is next in contemporary movement/art through his vocabulary, Korhan is interested in performers with high dance technique, higher instincts and intellect. Improvisational skills, awareness of the self and bringing the self and identity to what is being formed are also needed.
