Spark Movement Collective (Spark) is seeking well-rounded, athletic female and male dancers with a strong background in modern and ballet for its upcoming 2013-2014 Season. Spark is looking for dancers with strong stage presence and the ability to give creative input while picking up steps quickly. A private audition will be held the evening of Sunday, July 14th in Midtown. Spark’s season will include indoor and outdoor site-specific works in Washington Square Park, guest performances in festivals, two self-produced shows in the fall and spring, and more. Rehearsals are regularly held on Tuesdays from 6:00-9:00pm with occasional Sunday or Monday rehearsals close to performance dates (depending on dancer and studio availability).
