MOTION Dance Theatre, a summer dance company and choreographic laboratory, seeks applicants for its 2014 Summer Choreographic Residency Program which will take place June 23-July 13 in Asheville, NC. Two guest choreographers will be chosen and given access to rehearsal space, full production of new works and video footage of finished pieces. Travel, housing and stipend salary are provided. Past dancers of MOTION include members of Ballet Arizona, Ballet Austin, Ballet West, Company C Contemporary Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Nashville Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet.

To be considered, please submit letter of intent, resume and a choreographic reel including selections from at least three works of no less than 3 minutes in continuous length.
